TESTS
Accredited DOT Testing Solutions
If your business requires employees with commercial driver's licenses (CDLs), it is imperative that you maintain compliance with DOT regulations set by FMCSA. At Foxx Laboratories and Screening®, we offer a comprehensive selection of certified DOT testing services that meet FMCSA's strict standards. Our labs adhere to these regulations, and our staff is well-versed in proper testing procedures and techniques. Our Fastest Labs collectors are certified Breath Alcohol Technicians (BATs) and Certified Lifeloc Operator and Calibration Technicians (C-LOCTs). Whether you require random DOT drug testing, a post-accident breathalyzer test, or return-to-duty testing, our team of friendly and professional experts can assist you.
Regulations
Under FMCSA regulations, it is mandatory for businesses employing CDL-holding drivers to conduct regular drug and alcohol testing. This applies to a range of entities, including for-hire motor carriers, private motor carriers, governments (Federal, State, and local), civic organizations, churches, and anyone who owns, leases, or assigns drivers to operate commercial vehicles. This also extends to employees of organizations governed by FAA, FRA, FMSCA, PHMSA, FTA, and USCG. As an employer, it is your responsibility to ensure that DOT testing is conducted as required and that your employees are DOT compliant. At Fastest Labs, we provide a range of solutions to help you meet these stringent regulations.

Compared to other DNA collection methods, such as blood tests or tissue biopsies, swab DNA tests are generally painless, quick, and easy to perform. The DNA samples collected from the swab can be analyzed to provide information about your genetic ancestry, predisposition to certain diseases, and other genetic traits.these swab tests are more than 99.9% accurate.

If you have hypertension and blood pressure less than or equal to 139/89, you may be certified for up to 1 year. If you have stage 1 or stage 2 hypertension, you may be given a one-time 3-month certificate. During that time, you must speak to your medical doctor about lowering your blood pressure to the acceptable range. When you return for certification, your blood pressure must be at or below 139/89. If you have stage 3 hypertension, you will be disqualified.

What if I wear hearing aid(s)?
The hearing standard requires a driver to be able to hear a forced whisper in at least one ear at 5 feet. If you are unable to pass the whisper test, an audiometric exam may be required, as it can be a more sensitive test. We do not offer these exams in-office, but ask you to bring, or have your record sent to our office before your appointment.
